Although the modern gadgets are created for entertainment and retrieving information from worldwide websites, their indiscriminate use results in rising cases of depression, especially among youngsters. These gadgets have reduced the rate of interaction between parents and their children, and this is why the young generation tends to search for individual identity away from their parents. Previously it was the parents’ sound advice which could help kids to cope with the stressful situations in their lives. Due to the overuse of cell phones, youngsters find it difficult to communicate with their parents about their anxieties and fears. And this lack of communication is the prime cause of depression among youngsters.
