Globalization has caused the amalgamation of different cultures and peoples from different countries that a need for a common means of communication. Scientists are of opinion that there will be a common global language which will make the communication easier between people all around the world. Although it will make the exchange of ideas easier, and there will be more harmony between different cultures; this will cause us to sacrifice the diversity of thought and our unique cultural identities. In my opinion, a common language for all will have negative outcomes which will be discussed in this essay.

There is this unspoken belief among journalist and news broadcasters that bad news drives out the good one and a disastrous event would capture more eyeballs ( or get more viewership ) than an event heralding a positive change in community. The human tendency to be curious about some sensational events strengthens this belief. Although it is necessary to be aware of local as well as global events , be it a war or a famine; viewers should also be made aware of news which fills their hearts with hope , a hope for a better future, not just for themselves but also for the humanity itself.
