Sample Answers :

To what extent does price influence potential buyers?

What other factors influence people to buy products?

keywords : higher product price, influence on buyers, buyers

A customer, who understands the value of a quality product, will prefer an expensive product. Manufacturers, through constant advertisements, have made them believe that quality products don’t come cheap. And majority of customers would fall for their ruse. Apart from this, there are other factors, influencing people to buy products, which will be discussed in this essay.

In nearly all science courses at university , there are significantly more male students than female students.

What is the reason for this?

What could be done to balance out the numbers?

keywords : science courses, university, male-female students

The percentage of male students in a science course at universities is higher than that of female students in the same course. There are many factors responsible for this wide gender gap. The main reason is the lack of encouragement to girls for taking up such courses. This essay will discuss the reasons for fewer girls in science courses and the ways to balance out the numbers.

Both governments and individuals are spending vast amounts of money protecting animals and their habitat. This money could be better spent dealing with fundamental issues in society such as poverty and health care.

To what extent do you agree?

keywords : governments, individuals , spending money, animal , habitat, fundamental issues

People as well as governments are becoming more and more aware of saving wildlife , especially endangered species. To carry out this task, they spend a huge amount of money. Some argue that rather than focusing on tasks like this, the money should be spent on eradicating poverty and improving healthcare system. Although it is the government , and to a certain extent individuals, are responsible to deal with fundamental issues, saving wildlife is also an important issue which can’t be neglected. Therefore, I completely disagree with this statement.

With an increasing number of people eating fast food , which if consumed too regularly can cause health issues, some people think that the only solution is to ban it completely.

To what extent do you agree?

keywords : fast food, health issues, ban on fast food

Consumption of fast food and a sedentary lifestyle are very common these days. This eventually leads to people suffering from diabetes and hypertension. According to some observers, a complete ban on such unhealthy foods can put a curb on rising number of diabetes and hypertension cases. However attractive this solution may seem, it is not a viable solution. Therefore I completely disagree with this solution.

Some people think that children who spend a lot of time reading children’s story books are wasting their time which could be better used doing other more useful activities.

To what extent do you agree?

keywords : children, children’s story books, reading, use of time

Some children prefer to spend their leisure time reading fairy tales and adventure stories. For some, this is a sheer waste of time which could be used elsewhere doing more fruitful activities. I completely disagree with this statement as time spent in the company of a story book sparks the curiosity in children’s minds and they become more imaginative, and they should be encouraged to read more books rather than playing computer games or watching cartoon movies.
