Some people think that government is responsible for the rise in obesity in children, while others think it is the fault of the parents. Discuss both sides and give your opinion.
Unhealthy eating habits and a sedentary lifestyle has led to an increasing number of kids being overweight. As it is an issue related to public health, some people hold the government responsible for rising obesity in kids. However, some people think that parental negligence and overindulgence is the cause of overweight kids. In my opinion, the latter argument is right and this essay will show why parents play a vital role in keeping their children healthy and active.
With the development of the media online, there is no future for the radio.
To what extent do you agree?
keywords : online media, radio
With the advent of information technology there is a sudden surge of online source of mass communication. Yet the conventional medium like radio has not become an obsolete thing. On the contrary radio as a medium of mass communication has evolved over the time. I completely disagree with the statement about the possibility of radio becoming a thing of the past.
Some people think that e-books are the death of paper books while others think that paper books will never disappear.
Discuss both sides and give your opinion.
keywords : e-books , paper books, disappear
A book in any format, be it an e-book or a paper book, has always been a great source of amusement as well as enlightenment. Readers will never get tired of reading books. Although a growing trend for e-book reading has emerged, the real joy of reading can only be felt by holding a paper book in your hands. This essay will discuss the threat posed by e-books to the existence of paper books and how paper books will survive forever through the pleasure they afford to the reader.
Paying all workers the same salary in a company promotes harmony and respect among colleagues.
To what extent do you agree or disagree ?
keywords : workers, salary, promote harmony and respect, colleagues
Employers want to create a harmonious working environment for employees to increase productivity. But they also want to encourage employees to engage in a healthy competition with each other, for this they reward the hardworking ones with higher salaries. If there is no possibility of getting a better reward for higher performance , when there is an equal amount of salary for each employee, there is little inducement for a worker to perform better. I completely disagree with the statement supporting the equal payment to every worker.
With an increasing overweight population some people think universities should make sport a compulsory module on all degree courses.
To what extent do you agree?
Obesity among young people is increasing at an alarming rate, and various solutions have been suggested by experts. Some argue that a compulsory subject of sport in university curriculum can curb the problem at its outset. I completely disagree with this solution as it is better to convince students to take part in sports and keep themselves healthy, rather than coerce them through the university curriculum.
