Every year many events take place that I can call special events.
So it is difficult to pick out any one among them.
But, if I were to choose , I would like to say that the farewell event at my college was a very special event for me.

- area : in my city, on the outskirts of my city
- last year in September
- coincidentally , on that day it was my birthday also
- so it was like my birthday celebration in which my whole class participated.
- it started at around 10.30 in the morning
- we arrived at the venue at around 11 a.m.
- we reached late because of traffic jam
- luckily, we didn’t miss any important event
- at around 11.30 , our juniors enacted a play that recalled all the memories of our student life.
- after that there was dance performances by my batchmates as well as some of the faculty members
- I was intrigued by the dance performance of my physiology teacher Dr. Anuj sir.
- He really danced well on that day.
- But when he tried to say a few words of farewell to us, he became very emotional.
- He couldn’t control his tears
- a few v/s few
- Then the real performance came for which we were eagerly waiting
- My best friend Hency and Smruti sang a duet song.
- The whole audience were mesmerized
- When their song ended, we couldn’t stop applauding their talent
- And we asked them to sing once again
- a break of around 40 minutes for lunch
- although the lunch was quite fantastic, we were so emotional that we couldn’t enjoy it
- valedictory speech was given by my friend Pooja on behalf of class of 2018
- tears welled up in our eyes when she finished her speech
- we cried a lot on that day because we were saying a final goodbye to many of our friends
- These friends we were never going to see again
- but, I am happy that our journey ended on a happier note when our Principal Bhavin Sir gave us the best motivational piece of advice.
- He told us that the journey as a student never ends. He encouraged us to stay curious for the rest of our lives and keep learning new things.
